i want a new fish

    Any species that burrows in the sand is going to need more than that. I would recommend at least 1". I have from 1.5 to 2".

    There good, but are known to jump when stressed or chased.

    I feel need to clarify above post.

    Probably way too many fish for a newer tank.

    I have 10+ lbs of very mature LR in Nano (moved in from main tank)

    Besides filters it came with I have added a Bio
    Med Poly-Filter ( 1/3 of one)

    Bag of Marineland Diamond Blend Filter Media in one rear chamber.


    In a newer (less then year) 12 gallon Nano - would highly recommend only one additional (smaller) fish with pair of percs..

    In a 24 gal, no more then two additional.

    ya i read that about them... i have a enclosed hood so that should not be an issue. i dont suppose you know if the clean other fish like the neon goby does. it does not say anything about that in the description. hey thanks again for all the help!!

    pj cardinals are cool. they stay in plain sight all the time, which is nice. they kinda just hover, rather then swim.

    i owuld go with gobies as for some reason i really like the little guys.. my 20 gal is mainly just gobbies and they always seem to be swimming around almost as fun to watch as the big tank

    um i would go with a neon goby as well, or its also cool to have like a chromis or something, if i were you though, i would get like a cleaner shrimp or a couple peppermint shrimp, they are so fun to watch!!! and each one has a different personality

    maybe a blenny ( bi-color ) or midas , very active and fun to watch, as well maybe a goby of some sort ,
