I am trying to do this on a very friendly budget. I would like to have a kalkwasser storage container that can be auto dosed into my system, and also want to have it controlled by an aquacontroller jr - I also have a ph probe that I can monitor with - but on a slow dosing I don't know if it would make a diff. I have a 75g newish tank, not that many sps now am planning on a few more but not an sps dominated tank. I also have a float valve ATO installed. Will monitor and use 2 part system to balance. What are my best options?

So after a little more research I think I can use an aqua lifter to pump into the tank at night at timed intervals using the jr's osc time function. So I guess a question then would be how do I go about estimating how much I should be dosing to start / start low of course to test..

I have been just using Agramilk and right now my Ca is 440 and dKH is 5. Out of wack, I will get a 2 part solution soon to bring it up to balance. I don't know mag levels.

you need to get a MG test kit, all three coincide together and without the right levels of either, your tank could be out of whack... might explain the very low DKH.

what kind are you getting? just a warning, I think most, if not all Mg test kits are REALLY hard to understand... Of course I was terrible at math and chemistry but just a heads up!
