So I would like to increase my water flow; I don't think I have enough current to sustain my anemone. I have a penguin 200 biofilter in a 28 gallon bowfront (i think the filter is made for a 50 gallon), it's been doing a great job and creates a noticeable down current. Is there a way I could increase my current? Several options would be preferable.

And what would you guys consder, mild, moderate, and heavy current?

make your current erratic, a nice korallia PH will help keep the flow up. You could try a Algae free modded maxi-jet also ;)

To understand the Q better, you want to increase the current within the tank or you want a higher turn over?

I suppose increase the current within the tank? My filter works fine and everything, I guess I'm just looking for more water mov't for the anemone.

If your bio-wheel filter still has the wheel on it I would remove the wheel. The wheel will eventually build-up all sorts of nitrates. You can still use the filter by running floss and charcoal alternatively (one time floss, next time charcoal, next time floss, etc..).

As far as flow within the tank goes the above suggestions are worth considering.

    Good luck.

Well research it all you need but if it where my tank I'd just put a simple korallia 1 in there and be done better option would be a korallia one on either side of the tank
