    I believe you are on the right track but the container probably needs more holes to allow flow.

    I concur, drill or punch a bunch more holes in it and aim a powerhead at it for better flow.

    thanks .... how many days i can check nitrates again for change take effect ???

    A reduction in nitrates will not happen in days, chaeto is not a magical cure, over time it will help but not immediately.

    To reduce nitrates you will still have to use RO/DI water, not over feed and do routine water changes.

    Maybe you need to be looking at an Algae Turf Scrubber (ATS).
