    i was just bit by my porcupine puffer...poor rosie, so hungry (after being feed 3 hours ago) results to human skin.. Im not going to lie, it did hurt! Shes not poisoness right?

    Some puffers are poisonous if you eat them (poison is ingested), but she's not venomous (venom is injected).

    She was probably giving you a hint, since your hands can cause more havoc to your tank than the puffer. Wash it good, apply some polysporin and let air dry. You can get infection from the bacteria in your tank, wear elbow length gloves whenever your working in your tank.;)

    Great advice. Also, when dealing with puffers, remember that their beaks can bit your finger OFF!!! Always make sure they are aware your hands aren't food when working in their tank.
