Well i finally bought a six line wrasse 2 days ago. Its the last fish i planned to put in my tank. The one the lfs gave me was in a tank with a BUNCH of butterflys, tangs, and larger fish. He was hiding in a corner. But it was their last one so i bought it (i should have realized that he was strssed out as F**K). I put him in the QT tank for a day, he looked acclimiated but still stressed out. Once he was in the tank he hid for a full day. I thought he jumped out. I even took my rock apart. But i never found him. This morning he popped his head out from in between two rocks. I jumped for my video camera like the reef nerd i am now and started trying to film him. He came out form the rock, then fell sideways and floated down to the sand. With a heartattack in process I reached my hand in to try and stimulate some movement. He just sat there. Then he darted across the tank and smacked into the glass wall on the other side. After that, then he fell on his side and died completely. Lifeless...Not even a wiggle when i tapped him. No beathing either. I found some reminence of a film on him but i think that it was the night coccoon he made for himself. His starboard (right) fin was slightly knipped at as well. I tried placing him in a bucket of my DT tank water and an air stone, but nothing happened. He was dead.

Sorry for your loss. At least this isnt a hard fish to come by and will be easy to replace, and i hope you find another soon.

Are six line wrasses normally difficult to acclimate.
I bought him at the same time as a spotted mandarin goby.(not the green one). The mandarin goby one is totally fine and happy.

Nope, six-lines aren't hard to acclimate. It's the selection of a good one that helps. Sorry to hear about the fish. Also, your tank is way too new and small for a dragonette. Hope it's eating prepared food.;) The spotted is known as the psychadelic.
