I can't seem to find a converter from the icecap male plug to a galaxy male plug, for my reflector. All that i have been able to find is a male plug with a 15' cord, does anyone know if there is such a conversion? I really do not want to rewire my reflectors.

    Thanks

You can by sunlight Supply cords from Reefgeek.com. I rewired my Giesemann fixture using these so I could run Galaxy Ballasts.

The cords are available, but putting them to use would require a rewire on the opposite end. I know of no such conversion cap, but that would be a great idea.

After looking forever for a connector, I could not find one so it appears I will be buying the galaxy ballasts and rewiring the reflectors. Still kicking around the idea of the select a watt or the straight 250 watt. Got some time still waiting for a new stand to come since my old one is now trash.

I chose the select-A-Watt to run 400w bulbs in Fall, Winter and Spring. 250 watt in the summer. If I ran DE bulbs, I would not bother with select-a-watt as 150 watt and 250 watt are not interchangeable. With mogul bulbs, the select-a-watt option allows youo not only to experiment with other brand bulbs but with other wattages as well.

Just took advantage of the 10% discount that marine depot is offering and got the Galaxy select-a-watt. Thank for the advice everyone.
