I'm trying to get a real nice 14 to 20K look with nice deep rich colors in my tank. I'm looking for a color like this :

It is a lot of watts so be careful with how you run the lights. You need the 3 MH to cover the tank and the 250 for the depth. You can always buy all Pure actinic bulbs if you think there will be too much light. If fact that might not be a bad way to start. If you do that just buy any brand pure actinic as they have half the PAR of UVL's and 1/3 of the Blue Plus.

I'm moving from a 14bulb T-5 system that used to hang about 5 or 6" off the water. I have almost ANY T5 bulb available at my disposal

    GEISMAN BLUE+
    ATI BLUE +
    AQUABLUE +
    UVL75/25
    GE 6500
    ATI FIJI Purple's
    GEISMAN ACTINIC +

like i said almost every bulb available at my disposal.

My goal is Growth and Color. I need to choose fast because My friend went to Fiji on his honeymoon and met and arranged a handpicked coral and fish shipment to one of our LFS owners that are friends. We have about 100 colonies of corals coming in!

Use an ATI Blue Plus or Geisemann Actinic+ on each side, a Fiji Purple or UVL 75/25 on each side to pop the reds, pinks and purples, and then get pure actinic bulbs for the rest. Play with the blues and actinics to lessen or increase the blue color.
