I will try to provide pictures but my tank has been heading down hill ever since i added 5 clowns at once. My trigger fish died today and my clowns have been dying. I looks like one clown has a circle of white down near his eye and same with a diamond golby. Im worried they may have ich. If i added rid-ich wil it harm my tank? Whats best way to make sure its good? Reef tank
Thank you. I had my water tested by LFS they said waters good!

Rid ich contains copper I think but I could be wrong....

RxP works well but may harm urchins & Seastars, I have used it before I picked up UV light and cleaner shrimp.

    UV Light & Cleaner shrimp

Garlic soaked foods (Garlic guard, etc)

Not fun, but can be done without losses...(Or any further) if it's ich...
Biggest thing is to try to keep the fish well fed and healhy so they can fight it off....

Some people also do freshwater dips and hypo salinity but I'm not familiar with those methods....You can always talk to local reefers for suggestions.

    Good Luck

ich and most other diseases are always present in aquariums, when multiple fish get sick something is weakening them and allowing the disease and or parasite to get a foothold, what did your lfs check for waterwise?

Okay hold off on the meds. Do you have a cleaner shrimp? I wonder since you had a trigger. How big is your tank, and why did you add 5 clowns to it?

I have a shrimp but hes not a cleaner shrimp, maybe i should go buy one? I added 5 clowns beacuse i had two and they always looked cute in my corals. My LFS tested for everything basic. 55 gallons, im afraid the rest of my fish will die. Meds or shrimp?

shrimp, if you add meds you'll nuke the entire bacteria culture in your tank.

Clowns should only be kept in pairs or as singles. They get along as juveniles, but can and often do decide they are mature over night and the established pair will kill off the others. Shame on your LFS for selling you them when you already had 2. You also need to research fish before you buy them. Get rid of the 5 you bought or you will end up with quite a few dead clowns down the road. That is not an opinion, it is a fact.

Seems like a lot of work for one shrimp. I'd get two, but in all seriousness you really need to take those extra clowns back.
