Hard to really tell since the camera is focused on the rock. I know it's hard to take a pic of fish swimming in the tank, they are a pain and never stay still. :p
It looks like it's got scale damage, which is usually caused by slime coat loss, which can happen due to many things. Stress is usually the first thing. Ammonia levels can cause scale loss, but smmonia burn will also show up in the gills, they will be red and enflamed. To me, he looks stressed from loss of slime coat (his tail is also pale). It's probably caused by the elevated NH3-NO2-NO3 levels from the new live rock dieoff cycle.

sorry, my bad. i need more practice taking shots. i added a water conditioner for freshwater aquariums. is that ok? it says it replenishes the slime coat of fish. i did a 10% water change 2 days ago. nitrite is still not going down. should i do more and higher percentage of water change?

Hard to tell if its ich or not by the pic, but I want to say no. Definitely not an ammonia burn.

damsel's condition is improving a lot now. he's been coming out and starting to pick on my clownfish again. the skin rashes are totally gone. i guess the slime coat restorer and the water change helped? also added baking soda to up the pH.

Can’t tell much from your pick aside from its not Crypto/Ich. Your white “spots” appear to me more white patches – that would indicate stress to me, not Ich and not burns. Glad your fish has improved.

In the future Crypto will appear as if tiny grains of sand are stuck to your fish, its not any discoloration of the fish. Its actually a white parasite that is adhered to your pet and is visible as such.

Anyway, like we all said – its hard to tell from the blurred picture but this is what I think I see.
