I got an Undulate Trigger about 5 days ago. He's has been eating well since day two but now, I don't think he's eathing and I saw him making strange, rapid movements scratching his body on the crushed coral in my tank. I've been feeding spectrum pellets and I started feeding newly hatched brine shrimp about two days ago. Is this ich or flukes and how should I treat? :-[

can you see any ich? tiny, usually white specks.. even if it is ich, this could be from the stress of his new environment, maybe soak his food in garlic and see if he can fight it off on his own.

Not seeing any ich. I'll do the garlic and see if that helps him to eat. Also, should I stop feeding the brine?

i dont see why the brine would hurt him, unless you think the symptoms were caused by the brine. If not, then you could soak the brine in garlic. Meds should be a last resort, but if it looks like nothing else is working.. them maybe move on to them.
