    IMO cleaner shrimp are the way to go. Sure there are always more stubborn cases of it that need a little help, but shrimp (and other cleaners) are natures way of controlling parasites and they work quite well. Always go natural first.

    Heck, I always forget the shrimp.

    Neon gobies are hell on ICK also.

    I don't want to scare anyone but I'd like to add that ich has a multi stage life cycle ans it's only visible in the "white spot" form for one of them. It could very well look like it's gotten better and went away when in fact it's just in a different life cycle.

    Even if your fish aren't showing signs of it I'd keep adding garlic and vitimans to their food just to keep them in tip top shape. I believe it takes a month for ich to go completly through it's life cycle....
