Is there a reason why you decided to use this? Even though you know people are going to say not to?

What UV are you using, pump, and tank size?

You should think about getting a 10 gallon at/hospital tank. I'm not sure what 6 fish you lost but I bet it would of been cheaper to buy a qt tank than to lose 6 fish and have to replace them.

I am guessing like most medications, skimmers will remove it and UV will leave it inactive. So both should be off for the entire treatment length. However, I have yet to see a single reef safe remedy that will cure Ich. As mentioned, setup a QT and then you have some real options (copper, hyposalinity, quinine sulphate, etc).

A 10gallon aquarium kit is 30 bucks at Walmart. That's what I use as my qt/hospital. Just a simple hob filter and hood with light.

uv will have no effect on ich and neither will that treatment. set up a cheap qt and treat with copper, hyposalinity, or tank transfer. also your dt must be fallow for at least 8 weeks. I know it sucks to hear that, but those are the facts. once the qt is set up you can qt all new fish before adding them to the dt.

I was good with everything else you wrote, but the above is not entirely true. With a large/strong enough unit and slow enough flow, UV can be effective against Ich. However most that have them either have too small a unit, too fast a flow, or both.
