ick on skunk cleaner shrimp?

    I never heard of them getting ick. I know they are great for removing ick off your fish if there is an outbreak I alwas have a couple in my tank just for that purpose and they are fun to watch

    Nah, ich cannot effect crustaceans do to their exoskeleton. The parasites need living flesh to feed off of... the hard shells/exoskeletons on crabs, shrimp, etc do not carry the blood supply that the parsites are looking for.

    Now if only we could build cybernetic exoskeleton armor suits for our fish....8)

    yea thats what i thought... so my skunk has a few white dots on it, they have been there for three days now. is there any type of crustacean diseases we know about?
