The water change won't cure your tank of ick. Your best bet is to catch the fish out and qt them I'd they are broke out bad. How many fish in the tank?

I have never had good luck with it. My last ick outbreak in my 90 I caught the fish out and treated them with coppersafe in the qt tank. Then returned them to the display about 35 days later.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Are the fish eating?

Stop the water changes as long as parameters are stable. Doing water changes will only provide more stress, causing a greater issue with the parasite.
