    The head yes but it doesn't have the gliders and it also swims, rarely on the sand bed.

    Reminds me of a lizardfish, might be one. As Vinny said, more pix would help.
    Also, if that fish is swimming, it's not comfortable, or is lacking a lair of some type. It doesn't look like a swimmer at all.

    funny, my lfs has one that looks JUST like yours labeled as a tudorjonesi dragonette , had to google it just to get the name right . hmmmm
