A friend of mine had to take down his tank so i took some of his fish for him...

I have been able to ID all but these guys they are black with yellow behind their fins I have 2 of them one is about twice the size of the one in the pic and has a bit more pointed fins.

Also My LFS has an Anemone that doesn't quite match anything else i have seen.

It has a Clown that hosts in it but they do not know what species it is. I wanted to make sure what it was before getting it. They said I could have it for 10 bucks since its been in the tank for so long and no one has found the Id for it.

I have attached photos of botht the fish and the Nem in question.

If you need any other pics i can take more.

    Thanks for your help.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Fish is Regal Demoiselle, a damsel.
Anemones almost looks like a Long Tentacle, but not quite. What color is the column and does it have little white raised bumps on it.

Hmm give me a min I will dig out my ID book. The column should be orange or red for a LTA. The tentacles and lines next to the oral opening look right though.

very unique looking anemone. The disc almost looks like a rock anemone but it's obviously not one. It does look healthy. Hope someone can ID!

Yea I really like it Im just trying to make sure i dont put a monster in my tank (Yes I know they are all monsters...)

It was hosting a Ocellaris in the store so my hope is that my Clarkii would also host in it. The only problem i have with that is my clarkii is about double the size so i wouldn't want it to harm it.

The tank I have now is a 125g that I merged my 2 55G tanks into.

Had a rather large ~15-18" Carpet in one that I had for a few years that had over tripled in size.

I found a good local home for that before I started to merge the tanks. Didnt put it in the 125 cause it had already eaten a few fish and i didnt want to take the chance that it would eat more.

I know all Anemones can and will eat fish but some are worse than others.

I caught my carpet eating a 4.5" Sally Lightfoot crab.

    Thanks for all your help.

I don't think other types of anemones (besides the large carpets) are known to eat fish in the aquarium although I'm sure it's always a possibility. Although it is hard to tell how large the one you have pictured is, I don't think I'd worry about it eating your clarkii.
