ID for this incredible Zoa/Paly???

Does anyone know what the name of this is and does it really look like that? Did someone just Photoshop it to look like that? The closest I could find was King Midas but I don't think so. Thanks

 

Who's picture is it? Zoas/Palys get named different things all the time.

VERY SLOW grower....we bought 1 polyp last year at macna and guess how many polyps we have right now-1!

 

Im not sure what they are. I wouldnt get too caught up with the "name" of the zoa. If it tickles your fancy and the price is right then buy it.

for future coral reference, its pretty good for getting an id on zoas.

whatever it is.......i agree with the above.........you like it grab it! I would grab those as they are neat looking. I am a little better with zoa names than most other corals, however i too think that these names are a little bit of a racket. A purple zoa will go for x amount, however attach a cool name and the price double!!!!!!

 

I, as well, hate the zoa/play name game.

But these are Golden Empire Zoanthids.
