    ok guys i have this "stuff" growing in my aquarium that just keeps growing and creeping and i just can't seem to get rid of it. This is plant like but reacts to touch and water movement change. It keeps sending out runners deep into rock making it impossible to get rid of. This stuff is brown in color and has a palm palm like head.

    do you have any idea on what i can do to get rid of it...i have pulled rock sat at the table with a tub of water and pulled those things with tweezers until i was sick of it..nothing works and it keeps out growing my coral....smuthering them of no light to extend.

    You are going to have to nuke the rock and every surface they are on.

    Pull the rock out and cover the hydroids with putty.
