so i looked at a bit better, the shell is round , and the color is brown. I wouldn't be able to get a picture, of it though. It really hasn't moved much since i first noticed it.

    hope this helps

wait, nevermind the round shell, it is oval and covers the entire part of invert. I tried to get another pic, but the batteries in my camera is dead and i can't find any around the house

Doesn't really look like a snail to me. But I dunno!! Looks to me like a limpet (based on Google images).

if so, awesome, wonder if it snuck in with the reefcleaners inverts or i had this guy all along and just now, 4 months later decided to come otu

yea i've looked up some of the limpet images on google, now that i kind of got a better look at the shell, it really does look like a limpet, just wish it would move so i could get a better look at it

This looks very similar to what I have had showing up in my tank in recent weeks. My LFS id'ed it as a limpet. I started my FOWLR tank in May, and saw 1 or 2 around October. Now suddenly there are around 10.

you guys are right! it is a Limpit! it has moved so i can see the shell better and is shaped just like one. Still can't get a good pic of it though but it is a limpit. amazing how you guys can ID something just based on the foot.
