    1st Montipora Undata
2nd Montipora Digitata ? Polyps look like it, but growth is odd. Lots of encrusting is throwing me off.

Don't most corals cover the plug/base first? They need to establish a strong base before they can "grow up" / outward.

Most do, but Digitatas tend to grow up very quickly. They tend to be a very fragile coral. Mine has been broken many times by fish swimming for food.
