Just looking for other opinions, and this is as good of a picture as I can get

Its above and to the right of the KO' Palythoas.

Its hard, Looks like it has blue polyps, starts as a deep red in the center and fades out into a yellowish green...

    Any clue?

I'm almost positive it's a Monti and looks to be a rainbow at that. Very sweet HH! I'm jealous! :)

my LFS has some encrusting monti's that look just like it... you'd be surprised the things that can live dormant in a tank for months, sometimes even years...and then boom...decide they want to grow :) AWESOME hitchhiker IMO......buuuut if you want to send me that rock I can take a better look at it in my reef... ;) lol

:p The rock has an 8" colt coral on it, soooo probably not. The rock came from Fosters, I always get the coral and random polyps of zoas and weird stuff and covered in coraline lol... fun times.

I agree on the monti diagnosis. So you can keep SPS after all. Congrats
