ID of "growths"

    Oh yea look at the very outer edge where the GSP is growing flat on the rock. Now compare that area with the tubes. Same color and texture.

    Well old salt, I got a pic last night when the polpys were mostly withdrawn and you are the WINNER!:) I definitely saw polyps coming from the "growths". Pic isn't great but....

    Hmmmmm, is all I got. Still having a hard time with this id. I mean could the gsp have grown over the growth. Or is it just that simple :confused:

    My GSP grows upward like that. You'll get these horns all over the place. New growth is trying to compete for space and light and is pushing themselves over the old growth.

    Is that what we are talking about? I can't find the mouse and I limited on navigation. :)

    I think it is just that simple. If you click on the pic to enlarge you can definitely see GSP coming out of the new growth. Like I said in our message, it just seems weird after a couple years to have it happen now. I did start using a different trace elements formula and increased the phyto feeding a bit....who knows....

    Thank you sir. And thats the extent of my knowledge lol. I have places that are even scrolling closer to the ends. They are growing upwards and scrolling also. Looks like you just roll them up.
