    It looks like it can be a type of rock flower anemone. Try googling some images and see if any match up or come close. Lol Im trying to identify an anemone hitchhiker that came in on my live rock right now as well. It can be a pain!

    I personally don't think the anemone is bad for the tank. Regardless, there will be risks with any anemone of stinging your inhabitant. How big the risk depends on what type of anemone he is and how powerful his sting is. Hopefully someone can ID it for you. If you send in the question to wetwebmedia they may be able to ID him as well. They have very experienced cast helping people out. Good luck on finding out!
