    Hey Guys,

    Yes, it's a Stomatella. It's a big one, and it has rather irregular growth lines, which makes it look a bit different. The two most common species are Stomatella varia and Stomatella impertusa, but they can look almost just alike. S. impertusa has fairly strong striations on the shell, while the shell of S. varia is almost smooth (at least, until they become gerontic/really old). Both are good algae eaters.

    pagojoe , since you seem to have a knack for identify these snails, slugs and nudis , do you enjoy them with garlic and butter too? lol

    Nah, I've eaten a few different species of bivalves, but never a snail. I've tasted of a couple, though, accidentally ;D
