ID Please......Pink on LR

I just bought this LR the other and it is almost fully covered by this pink velvety stuff that has small white dots. Well the following day after purchase the white dots opened and these little brown tenticles emerged. Not sure what it is so any help would be nice........;D

I know the large one in the pic is majano which has been removed already.

 

That "velvet looking stuff" is fine. It's a type of star polyp that is evasive but not a nuisance. It will keep coating your rock like the green kind you see but they'll be pinkish brown like a sea mat. Those big things are a type of aptasia that you'll want to remove.

 

Yeah the majanos have been removed already. They were ugly and very annoying. I wish the LFS by me would quit selling LR that is engulfed in majanos as PREMIUM FIJI ROCK. One store by me is selling it for 12.99 per pound that is infested with majanos anemones. When i asked if those were majanos the guy said no its some kind of mini anemone which I knew was BS..........LOL

 

Well its not total BS majanos are small anemones. lol
