I'd say the coral is some type of monti, but it looks like it is "going down hill"

I need to find the requirements it requires. I havent seen any corals like this one.

I appears to be growing rapidly but does have a funny shape.

Could you give some info on your tank. Size, how long it's been running, setup, water parameters, lights, etc. If in fact it is a monti, we can try to help you to keep it healthy.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It looks like a type of Turbinaria that has seen much better days. I would leave in mid level in the tank to color up and acclimate to your lighting and then move it up. The like mod indirect flow. It has decent polyp extension so that is good. Just a guess though.

    Cup Coral, Turbinaria

I did a water check last night.

    PH: 8.2
    Amm: 0.0
    Nitrite: 0:0
    Nitrate 10ppm
    Alk: 10
    Salinity: 1.025

The coral arrived like that and was alot smaller. Its been in my tank for about a month in the middle and low flow. I shall move it up and add flow to see how it responds.

Pinapple things good for my aquarium?

    Thanks

pineapples are harmless filter feeders that run their course and die off, nothing to worry about
