    Can anyone ID these egg sack looking things? They start out oval shaped then get these bristles on the tips. There are probably about 50 or 60 of them and I have no idea what they are.

    I also have some zoas that were given to me that I would like to know what they are.

    looks like youve got a peanut worm, i think in the sponge family??? very bennificial filter feeder, congrats!

    are they milk white? if so they are Scypha sponge. good for your tank

    whoops, n/m.... looks more like Scypha Ciliata to me now that i look at it closer, still a bennificial filter feeder.

    Peanut worms are not sponges, they're worms :) What you've got there is what are commonly referred to as "pineapple sponges".

    I agree with Amcarrig, pinapple sponge. Safe, filter feeders.
