So I'm just hangin out watching my cleaner shrimp cross over a rock and all of a sudden a three inch worm (looked like a centipede) slithers out of a hole in my rock and goes for the tail of my shrimp!! So I get real close to see and he shot back into the hole. I'd love to get a picture for you guys but I can't seem to lure him out for a good pic..

And ideas? Looked pretty aggressive and I'm affraid its a threat.

Sounds like a bobbit worm, fascinating creature to watch but will eat anything it can catch. If that is it than be prepared for a fight, very tough to catch.

I guess I could just ban the rock to my sump? Hopefully he gets brave enough to jump into my return pump ;) ha. I don't want anything in my tank to be his dinner

If he's going for live food, I would guess bobbit worm/eunicid worm too. They are very fast.

definitely fast, and aggressive. i dangled a piece of frozen krill in front of his hole and jumped out and grabbed it pulling the skewer with unexpected force.

They are not reef-friendly worms. If you can get it, move it to your sump.

if it takes krill from a skewer then temp it out again and grab it with some tweasers or something.
