Coral ID please - the hitch hiker on the left of the Ausie Lord - This sucker took off like a shot when I increased my calcium levels.

Hard to ID when the polyps are closed up.

Looks like an Acropora or possibly a cup coral. Nice HH. Congrats

I don't think the polyps are closed. Looks like an acro to me too.

    Bahaha, perhaps. :D

To the OP: You'll want to move that guy up in the tank. SPS require more light.

Whoops. :) I guess I'm used to seeing less branches, compared to the overall size, for SPS. I thought iit was an LPS.

Definitely an acropora. Weird growth pattern however. I am curious to see how it continues to grow.

I would frag the rock it is on and move it up higher in the tank. That LPS won't be happy with it next to it for long.

    Thanks

Thanks everyone for your replies. I've looked through the offerings of a number of on-line suppliers and didn't see anything that favored this in appearance. Perhaps moving it up towards the light will enhance it's color and make it look more like it's species.
