    It is a chinese hat or a limpet!!! For the most part they are reef safe!

    Right, it's a fissurellid, or Keyhole Limpet. The ones that are less likely to be reef safe are the ones that extend the mantle up over the shell. This one probably feeds on sponges and maybe whatever else he scrapes off the rocks and glass.

    thanks, i dont see him do much else but hang on the glass and, looks like he is eating algae.
