    What kind of coral is this? It almost looks like a brain shape, but it's likely a soft coral. I was thinking that it could be just a small dense colony of zoanthids. They are growing pretty quickly.

    Sorry for the crap picture, its in an odd location near the wall so it's difficult to photograph.

    I definitely think its favia after looking at some pictures. Pretty good hitcher!
