    This coral just split into 2, I have had it for along time I think it's a frogspawn?
    Is it bad that it split into 2?

    Yes it's very bad! You must ship the 2 halves to me immediatly so repairs can be made!

    Did you move it? It doesn't look very happy in the pics. But yes splitting is a normal form of reproduction.

    It's hard to tell from the pics. I'm pretty sure it is a froggie. Are the tentacles always retracted like that?

    It would be odd for corals that don't move to split and move. That kinda eliminates frogspawn for me.

    Edit: I thought you moved the one piece away from the other. Very strange for it to move. Frog spawns usually grow more heads, not split.
