I took home this piece, which includes Sinularia at the back and Xenia-kind of Coral at the front. The white colour coral is the one that actually attracted me to purchase this. They (LFS) said it's a type of Xenia. So, does anybody know for sure if this is Pom Pom Xenia? It's been 3 days on my tank and has not been showing any signs of opening up yet. Kinda worry.

If it is Heteroxenia sp. (xenia) then it would be a stalk with elongated polyps.

Anthelia sp. would be individual stalks with one polyp on each all joined by a thin tissue grown to the surface.

It could be either from the picture given. The frag is closed up tight so you cannot see where the polyps separate.
