    Hey guys! So, trying to find out what these corals are. Shoot me some ideas on what you think they are so I know where to start googling! :p

    There is no way to accurately ID Acropora down to the species name without a microscopic exam of dead corallites, and even then it is extremely difficult.

    You are exactly right. I would never tell someone the absolute ID. That's why i give my best guesses. Beats slapping some silly show name on it which does nothing except confuse everyone.

    second pic looks like a rose/red millipora and the first looks like a tortuosa sp....just guesses for google searches
