    hello i notices these white shell like things all over the glass in my 14 gallon nano tank. my tank has been running for 8 months.

    If they are spiral shaped then I would say micro feather dusters.

    Do they move around?

    Do you have any Nerite snails you've recently added to the tank? They like to drop eggs all over the glass and rock work.

    Might be cerith snail babies, I have a ton in my sump and elsewhere. Would need a closer more clear picture to ID them accurately.

    I'm going with micro-dusters as well. Their population will rise and fall over time.

    here's my guess hydroids... most the time in new tanks these things pop up and then die off once tank cycles.. use a mag float cleaner or what ever you use to clean you tank sides.
