ID this Acro

    Got this today from a local reefer. Thought it was a highlighter but unsure.
    Even has and Acro crab in it.

    Acropora Humilis: Hunter or Frick will come and give the correct ID though. I mean that in the most respectful manner as I suck as Acropora ID's.

    My first thought, which is a "highlighter" but the coralites are wrong for a Humilis and the branches aren't stubby enough.

    Yeah, looks a little "thinner" than the humilis I had. :(

    Yeah your right I guess but stubby has a lot to do with flow and distance from lighting fixture. Found this cool link while looking though.

    Yes you're right, as usual. haha I completely forgot about those two factors because I was just basing my experience with these acro's on how I see them at the LFS. Their highlighter Acro's have pointer growth tips, and are very stubby (high light and good flow)

    I'm curious about the acro crab. Is it smooth skinned or kind of furry looking? On a colony that size, I'd ditch the crab if it's furry.
