ID this algae

    plz see purple colored algae on the rock.

    I set up the 50Gal tank about 3 months ago with live rock.

    I brushed the rock when it coverd with brown algae but
    this purple colored algae is not removed and they are getting increasing
    day by day.

    plz let me know what they are and how to remove them.

    Lol that's funny. I remember when I first got into salt. I loved how clean the tank looked with all white rock & white sand with the light shining down. I was depressed when it all turned the ugly brown. But in givin time it turned purple & pink & started coming alive with critters. Congrats your making progress.
