ID this anemone

    This guy came in on a piece of live rock months ago. It was brown under my PC lights. Under my T5s it is green and red. I've seen it catch small pieces of frozen food. It's "stem", although rarely exposed, has dots on it as shown in the following picture. This picture was taken before I had my T5s and before I reaquascaped and moved the rock much lower in the tank.

    Good question. That thing is pretty funky looking. Reminds me of a post on here where someone got one from the ocean that kind of looks like that. I'll try to find the post....

    Thanks, I'll assume that this is a good anemone to keep in the tank. It's actually becoming attractive now. When I first saw it I was afraid it was aptaisia because it was a dull brown. But when I saw the tentacles were not smooth but sort of serrated I ruled that out.
