    You can also help control them by how much you feed.. If you have tons of them, cut back a little on how much you feed when you do, that will thin them out also.

    Good for the tank though IMO.

    They hurt. Solid advise.
    I used to be of the opinion that they were to be avoided at all costs. Now, while I would not seed my tank with them, I would not go out of my way to get rid of them. I would try to lasso the big ones if they ever get to size. I have heard of attacks on livestock. Otherwise, they just eat poo and garbage as stated above.

    +1, I have heard the same thing. Plus.. they get scarier the bigger they get :)

    No mater how benificial they are, my wife cannot tollerate seeing them, or the spegatte worms in the tank.

    Most will not get to be that big.. but if they do, they are no longer beneficial and are probably eyeballing your fish as their next meal.
