    Here are the pics hes not open all the way tho i fragged him off his little rock he was growing under hes allready starting to come back out cant wait to see him out all the way hes awsome lookin dont point out my ugly scratches on my tank plz its old i am ashamed of it :( and my camras not all that good o-o its allso sprouting out new babys on the side i think u guys can seeom

    Hey Macabe I hope you dont mind but I took one of your photos and put it through some photo shops filters and color renderers to try and give people a better idea of what it is. From the original that I took it almost looked like some sort of colonial tunicate. But after putting it through photoshop it seems like some sort of Acropora, don't know the species though as I don't have the lighting so I don't have first hadn experience. Hope this helps you in your quest ;D.

    thanks guys so it some tipe of sps? what i dont get is this thing shrinks its self i didnt think sps cuild shrink or that acupora cuild shrink

    is has allready spread it self to there to little tiny peace of it growing right next to it

    If it shrinks in on itself its not SPS. Some sort of tunicate sounds reasonable, maybe even a type of sponge.

    ya he shrinks on his own if u touch him. hes opening a little bit more everyday whene hes fully extended again ill take a real good pic. i allso took him to the lfs the guy sed hes never seen it :(

    Does the green part pull in, or just the little feathery tips that extend from it?

    Does it look like a green version of this:

    That's an acropora.
