    i bought this purple soft coral frag today but they just called it a leather.the mother colony was short like the frag but grows in a mat.not the duncan.it has the look of a large galaxia coral when big.

    it's a odd color but looks almost like a really small finger leather

    yes it was sold to me as a leather but it grows out instead of up.the mother colony looked like half a football.yes the color is odd it looks red and purple.i think its a leather i just don't know what kind.i always like looking up new corals i get so i know what to expect from them.

    bingo geekdafied most of the photos of cladiella were of colts but then i found this.its just like the mother clony but a different color.its in between a short tree and an encrusting coral.

    Ive had a few of those in the past and the one you pictured looked just like one of them.
