    Thatgrimguy got me interested in efflo acroporas. :D So I was Google searching and came across this beautiful piece. Can someone ID a more exact name? I would like to get a frag for my tank.

    I don't think it is "designer". I have seen an identical specimen at a somewhat local store in NC. It was about 24" across, lit by halides. I offered the owner $20...

    I'll ID it as Acropora efflorescens. ;D

    This one Here has similar color but is just a frag so it's hard to tell....but it's a close match. In the thread here there are some arguementals, but I think it closely matches your piece, especially with the plating at the bottom. jmo

    He said he might frag me a piece if I bought the colonies that I was eyeing...but I was going to a hockey game and then had a 4 hour drive home. I haven't been back up yet, but will go back in December (another game). I'll stay the night a bring back some goodies! I'll take a pic this time too. They also had a clam that was bigger than a basketball. If I remember it right, both pieces were in a 600+ gallon acrylic display, along with the largest Mandarin Dragonette I have ever seen! Tangs were running from it!
