ID this giant shroom please

Did not know that and thanks for the heads up. The blenny is the only one I've seen spend any time on it, but usually just short stints.

Do you think it would do something similar to hermit crabs? I did find a half eaten hermit out of its shell near that shroom the other day. First time i've seen that and just thought it died of "natural" causes as all the other hermits seem fine. Maybe not though...

 

Hermits, slow moving snails. Some LPS are capable to taking both as well.

 

If it was the front halves of the hermits you found,they could have just been molts as well.But I watched my giant hairy mushroom eat a cerith snail just the other day.
