    Don't beat yourself up. I thought it was a feather duster also. Its all good. I really wanted it to be the ID you gave me and not dumb snails.

    I like to admit when i am wrong. And rather it be the dusters to.. I hate thoes snails. I have torn my hands up from there tubes when moving rock or even selecting rock from a lfs..

    Why? Other than spewing a web of slime to catch particles in the water, and like someone mentioned they can poke and hurt, along with become unattractive, but they are harmless otherwise. Not something that will bother any corals, inverts, or fish!
