ID this hitchhiker

    So I found this hitchhiker in one of the bags my new corals came in today, anyone know what it is and if it's harmful?

    It looks like some sort of slug? Pics are a bit blurry :(
    I think I can see antennas on it too, but again, they're a bit blurrry. Try using the "Macro" feature in your cam and take the pic from about 1 foot away. Maybe that will help with the pics definition!

    The pictures are a bit blurry but look up stomatella as it is the right body shape and see if it matches as these are quite common and really great to have in your tank.

    I agree,looks kinda like a stomatella(it's shell looks more like a beanie cap than a full shell,theres more slug then shell)if thats what it is,harmless scavenger,i have a couple that came on my liverock.But the pic is a little blurry(And i'm shocked Telgar,as much as you get on people about pics!!)LOL!!

    lol, I know, I suck at the really close up work
    your description sounds right on with the shell so i'll keep it :p

    retaking pics of the new corals, should have them up in about half hour
