ID this Live Rock Inhabitant please

    i cant remember the name on them but i have had them for quite a while also there like a miniture anemone but mine seem pretty harmless , but the red one in the last picture is a fortiminiferin there harmless filter feeders

    I'd wait for a week or two. the skeletons on those first ones really do look like some sort of a brain coral and the other looks like a very small birdsnest. I''m sure somebody else on here will give you a for definite answer. Hey lucky you if they are!!!! how long have you had those rocks? oh and if it is glass anemone's no, you DON''T want them, but they don't have skeletons

    the skeleton reminds me of a open brain and, the tentacles look like a sun corals do but clear. i still dont think its a anemone. my guess would be a brain of some sorts.

    The red is an algae not an sps...lol nice. I actually saw a nice picture of a big one dont kill it they aren't bad.

    Ya IMO it is some sort of lps that is sucken in.

    i forgot the name of that red stuff but it is a type of algae or some kind of plant.

    ya I know so cause I have florida rock and he does too just from a diff store an hr away I had one on mine its soft. Think of a plastic bag with air in it. It has no structure inside. I see your reasoning behind it though

    It's a cup coral, you can see a pic of it on Tampa Bay Live rock under things that come on the rock. Sorry I don't know how to make a link.

    Very nice, good site there. It does appear to be a cup coral, and zabowski is correct the redish pink stem is not a coral it's soft and plant like.
