    very good for refugiums but you need to keep up on it to keep it from going sexual

    when you say keep up on it you mean keep an eye on its growth?

    well sort of
    when a macro goes "sexual" it releases a bunch of spores to reproduce elsewhere and this can be toxic in smaller systems

    if its going sexual it usually means the plant is dieing from lack of light or trimming etc.

    Caulerpa also goes sexual as a response to death by "starvation". Keep in mind they feed off nitrates and phosphates. If you do introduce them, keep an eye and when your nitrates/phosphates hit 0 trim it WAY back and start watching for any sign of bad news.
