    what is this? Its on the rock on the sand by the flash, a purple spot just about the size of a half dollar. Sorry about the flash, still learning, lol. Good reefing to ya!!

    Can you get a macro shot through the front of the glass? That would probably help, a purple spot on the rock makes me think coralline algae. I see a nice chuck of coralline but I am not sure that is what you are asking about. :)
