    My tank have been setup for over a year now. I have decide to add crushed coral substrate on TOP of my white LIVE SAND. It has been over 2 months now, I have notice this type of algae (or whatever) it is, on the crushed coral. I don't think is diatom. But I don't know what it is. Please ID it for me and how I can get rid of this please, thanks.

    Looks like cyano. Siphon the CC to remove it. You will need to siphon the CC often to prevent its return.
